If you would like to provide your child with a fruit snack to eat at breaktimes (10:10-10:30), then please do so. Whilst we do not allow fruit-based snacks such as Fruit Roll-Ups, the children are allowed to bring in a piece of fruit, or fruit within a labelled tupperware container.

Swimming Update

All Ant children will be asked to keep them swimming kits in school this week. This is because as a result of this class missing two swimming sessions, a catch-up session will be organised for later this week. At this point we are not able to confirm when this will be, but this information will be updated on the blog and for parent helpers, as soon as it is available.

Swimming Today

Unfortunately, due to the incorrect temperature of the pool at the start of the day today, Ant Class were unable to swim. This was for health and safety reasons. We are very sorry for this inconvenience and want to reassure all parents and guardians that the situation is being addressed and will be rectified as soon as possible. The children received a lesson on health and safety in the pool and some fun swimming related activities from the swimming teacher instead.

Aldi’s Kit for Schools

We are delighted to be collecting stickers for Aldi’s Kit for Schools.

Aldi are kindly giving schools the opportunity to receive £20,000 for equipment which would have an enormous benefit to our children.

Can we make it to 300 stickers? Not without your help! For every £30 you spend in store, you can collect 1 sticker.

Please bring all stickers to your child’s class teacher.
